  Observation. There were no records for multiple months of fire drills in 2024-2025. The manager said they were practiced, however were not recorded.

  Corrective action. Manager said they will be recorded moving forward.

  Observation. Manager file was unavailable for review during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Manager said documents have been obtained and will be available in the facility for review.

  A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (b) for each employee, the records required under section 19 (1) [character and skill requirements].

  Observation. Criminal Record Check is not current (expired) for one or more employees.

  Corrective action. Manager said CRC will be applied for.

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Upon inspection there was an above ground pool added to the yard. The gate was self latching but did not have a lock.

  Corrective action. Please ensure a health and safe environment is provided at all times.

• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing Officer observed an unsecured electrical cord from a baby monitor within the reach of children in the nap room, posing a potential entanglement risk. Licensee removed the baby monitor from children's reach during the inspection.

  Corrective action. Ensure a safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

  Observation. Of the five children's records reviewed, two were missing start dates.

  Corrective action. Ensure to keep a record showing the date of enrolment in the community care facility.
