Observation. Radon test results have not been provided for this facility. This has been outstanding since April 25, 2024.

Observation. The hot water from taps accessible to children for handwashing measures 55 degrees Celsius. Water accessible to children must not exceed 49 degrees Celsius, as higher temperatures pose a scalding risk. Submit written confirmation by June 24, 2026, that the hot water accessible to children is 49 degrees Celsius or less.

Observation. The Licensee must deploy a radon gas test kit in the facility for a minimum of 90 days over the winter months. Once the results of the test have been completed, submit them to Licensing. Testing for radon gas is a requirement for all licensed child care facilities.

Observation. Some children records were found incomplete. This was corrected during the inspection. Ensure that the records for each child is kept up-to-date.

Observation. Licensing observed some soiled diapers placed within the bath tub of the children's toilet. Ensure that soiled clothing are stored in a covered container.

Observation. Licensing observed that the outdoor play space presents potential hazards to children. • The temporary fence exhibits protruding wires and a gap, posing risks of cuts or entrapment. • Additionally, the children have access to the sewer system cover, which may present a tripping or falling hazard. Ensure that the entire outdoor play area is enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and will ensure that children are free of harm. The heated water was measured to be 51.6 degrees Celsius. Ensure that water accessible to children must not be more than 49 degrees Celsius.
