EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. During the inspection Licensing observed: - a free standing shelving unit in the play area that posed a risk of tipping as it was not secured to the wall. - in the outdoor play area there was not a cover for the sandbox when not in use.
Corrective action. Licensee said she will have the shelf secured to the wall and will creat a system to ensure the sandbox is covered when not in use.
