  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Storage of excess materials and equipment is noted on the open shelf unit beside the fridge (over 4' in height) and continuing along wall. Area of storage is accessible to children. Twice this has been a previous infraction found at this facility.

  Children are provided with a comprehensive and coordinated program of indoor and outdoor activities that is designed for the development and care of the children, and is appropriate for the age and development of the children. [CCLR Sec. 44(1)(a)(b)(c) and Schedule(G)]

  Observation. The centre has an excess of materials; much of which is stored through out the program space. This limits the environment's ability to facilitate the development of curiosity, reasoning and problem solving skills.

  Observation. Activity zones as described in Safe Play Spaces are compromised by the excess of toys and equipment stored in the areas, such as the dramatic play and fine motor play areas.
