  Observation. An emergency exit blocked with household items, leaving it inaccessible for emergency use.

  Corrective action. Licensee will have the emergency exit cleared for use.

  Observation. Upon inspection the fire extinguisher was due to be serviced on November 1, 2025 and has not been serviced.

  Corrective action. Licensee will have the extinguisher serviced.

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Paint chipping on some walls - Hair products (aerosols) located in the bathroom drawer which is accessible to children.

  Observation. Diaper change cart and an additional travel crib were blocking the emergency exit. This is a repeat contravention

  Corrective action. Please ensure all available routes for exit during an emergency are kept clear at all times.

  A licensee must ensure that the entire outdoor play area is (a) enclosed in a manner that is suitable for the age and development of children, and will ensure that children are free of harm.

  Observation. Licensing observed that a swing and slide set had been added to the outdoor play space without additional resilient surfacing. The ground underneath is mud which hardens in the colder months. There is a risk for injusry should a child fall from the swing or off the slide.

  Corrective action. Please unsure a safe environment outdoors when children are using equipment. Provide a compliance plan to Licensing.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed the emergency policy that didn't have a plan to relocate to a secondary location or support children for 72 hours of care.

  Corrective action. Please ensure staff are trained to respond to emergency situations by providing concise and detailed procedures and plans.

  Observation. During the routine inspection it was noted that he food in the emergency supplies bin was expired and there was no water available.

  Corrective action. Please ensure you have enough water and food to prepare for, mitigate, respond and recover from any emergency.

  Observation. Fire Extinguisher has not been serviced annually

  Corrective action. Ensure to service the fire extinguisher annually.

  Observation. At the time of this inspection, a diapering cart was blocking one of the designated emergency exits.

  Corrective action. Ensure emergency exits are kept free of items at all times children are in care.
