A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

Observation. At the time of the inspection Licensing observed: - Cloths used to wipe children's hands and faces, as well as cloths and towels used to clean are not being laundered in an appropriate manner. - Power cords for cameras and a speaker were hanging in the napping rooms within children's reach and not safely secured to the walls.

Corrective action. Licensee stated, a system to launder cloths properly will be implemented, and the cords will be secured in an appropriate manner.

A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.

Observation. Hazardous items were found in the Infant/Toddler bathroom accessible to children. These items included medicated creams, spray bottle of cleaner, disposable gloves and plastic bags.

Corrective action. The Licensee stated that a system to keep hazardous items out of children's reach will be implemented.

Observation. In the outdoor play space Licensing observed the following: - Gap under a gate which children could crawl under - Gap in the fencing that a child could get stuck under. - Diaper change mats used for resilient surfacing under a slide

Corrective action. Manager will ensure a safe outdoor play space. Please provide a corrective action plan as to providing a safe outdoor play space.

A licensee must ensure that each piece of furniture or equipment for sleeping (c) is appropriate for the size, age and development of the children intended to use it. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Licensing observed a stroller in the nap room that staff said was used when child was struggling to sleep. Discussed further and stroller was removed.

Corrective action. Please ensure only appropriate sleeping equipment is used for children
