Observation. A child's file was missing a medical practitioner name and number. Requirement of the Child Care Licensing Regulation is to keep current records for each child in case of an accident or illness. Submit to licensing by September 23, 2025 confirmation that the missing medical practitioner name and number has been added to the child file.

Observation. The emergency evacuation bag did not include nonperishable foods or necessary supplies to support children during an emergency. Having food and child activities will minimize the physical and emotional stress on a child during an emergency. Submit to licensing by September 23, 2025 evidence the emergency evacuation kit is complete.

Observation. The floor plan measurements were verified during the inspection. It was confirmed the useable floor space is adequate for a maximum total capacity of 27 children. The amendment application form requires resubmission to reflect this change in the purposed capacity.

Observation. The hot water measured 55 degrees which exceeds the allowable limit of 49 degrees Celsius.

Observation. Acceptable radon test results still incomplete. During the inspection, the manager stated that the device hangs until Feb 29 and then will be sent away for analysis.

Observation. Acceptable radon and water test results are still incomplete. Licensing Officer notes there is a radon testing device hanging in the facility but the manager isn't sure how long it's been there.

Observation. Radon results have not been submitted. Lead in drinking water results have not been submitted.

Observation. Staff Criminal Record Check, Character references, work history, and evidence of compliance with the province's immunization programs were not available at time of inspection. One child is missing medical insurance number
