• EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

  A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.

  Observation. The changing mat in the bathroom is ripped with foam exposing.

  Corrective action. Manager will ensure that the changing mat and other equipment are in good condition that are easy to clean and sanitize

• POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

  A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

  Observation. The fire extinguisher was not serviced annually. The arrow of the fire extinguisher is pointing at the green area.

  Corrective action. Manager will ensure that the fire extinguisher is served every year

• RECORDS AND REPORTING

  A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner and emergency contact.

  Observation. Eight children's files were reviewed, and two of the children has their parents listed as their emergency contact

  Corrective action. Manager will ensure that emergency contacts are people besides the child's parents.
