    Observation. Licensing reviewed 4 employee files, of those one file did not contain record of the Criminal Record Check having been completed. The employee had completed the criminal record check in February, however it had not been available for review during the inspection.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): During the inspection licensing reviewed the daily sign in sheet, some children had not been signed in for November 8, 2023, which was corrected by the licensee during the inspection.

    Corrective action. Please ensure to keep for each child a record showing the daily attendance record indicating each day whether the child is absent or if the child is present the time of arrival.

During the inspection licensing observed: -The emergency evacuation plan had not been practiced -The emergency supplies contained expired food, and had no system for regularly reviewing the emergency supplies to ensure the facility is able to mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.

    Observation. Licensing observed a fire extinguisher on site was due September 10, 2020 for servicing, and is now overdue. Manager stated it would be serviced the next day.

    Corrective action. Please ensure fire extinguishers are maintained yearly.
