  Observation. There are area carpets that have curling edges / corners creating a tripping hazard. The nap mats have torn and worn edges and corners making it difficult to adequately clean and sanitize. There is a gap in the lattice work below the deck outside.

  Observation. While the licensee conducts regular visual checks of the outdoor space, no record is kept.

  Children have healthy food and drink in accordance with Canada's Food Guide. [CCLR Sec.48(1)(a)]

  Observation. Children bring snacks and lunch and their food is stored in the fridge, however the thermometer in the fridge is reading 8 degrees C. and the temperature should not exceed 4 degrees C. for food safety.

  Heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius. [CCLR Sec.47]

  Observation. The water in the washroom is too hot.

  Staff are trained in the implementation of the fire drill system and the emergency plan, including the use of any equipment noted in the fire drill system and emergency plan. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(a)]

  Observation. The fire extinguisher has been overdue for inspection since May 2024.
