    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Licensing observed the following in the JK3 room: *An exacto knife was found in the drawer and was accessible to the children because the child lock was not engaged. *There are loose power plugs on the ground, which pose a tripping hazard. *The window blind cord near the door was not secured on the window hook, presenting an entanglement hazard.

    A healthy and safe environment is provided at all times [CCLR Sec. 13(1)].

    Observation. LO noted the following: - only one set of spay bottles containing sanitizer were available and were used between the bathroom and classroom - the lock on the storage door unit were staff were keeping their belongings was broken - the lock on the mini fridge was broken

    Children are provided with a comprehensive and coordinated program of indoor and outdoor activities that is designed for the development and care of the children, and is appropriate for the age and development of the children. [CCLR Sec. 44(1)(a)(b)(c) and Schedule(G)]

    Observation. LO noted that Schedule G for the outdoor activities was not met.

    Observation. LO noted on a child's registration form an allergy and medication were listed,however no care plan was created.

    Observation. A sample of children records has been reviewed at the time of the inspection. LO noted that one child record was missing the emergency contact information.

    Observation. LO was informed that staff are inspecting the outdoor play space daily ,however a written record was not kept.
