    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Ointments and creams in unlocked cabinet and drawer in the bathroom. Manager informed that these items will be relocated out of reach of children. - Corners on the mats used for nap are beginning to show signs of wear and tear.

    All indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment accessible to children are suitable for the age and development of the children, safely constructed, free from hazards and in good repair. [CCLR Sec. 16(4)]

    Observation. Licensing observed the fabric seat on a tricycle is torn due to wear and tear. This item is no longer in good repair. A conversation was had with the Manager in regards to providing children with the opportunity to play in the sandbox that is closed today, for sensory play. Manager informed that more sand is being delivered.

    There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Fire extinguisher is current in its servicing. - A portion of the water and food supply for emergency has expired. - Facility emergency supply food and water was difficult to access and not easy to transport.

    Observation. Licensing observed the following: - Two children to be missing medical insurance information. - 11 children were present, with 9 children signed in at the time of inspection.

    Observation. Some sleep mats have vinyl coverings that are cracked. This prevents them from being properly cleaned and sanitized. Licensing observed a closet door that is no longer on the track at the top of the frame. The manager informed licensing that all closet doors will be replaced
