    Observation. Licensing observed that a log was not kept of daily playground checks for room C. Manager stated that all playgrounds were checked daily and that a master log of routine maintenance was also kept.

    Corrective action. Ensure a log is kept of all playground inspections.

    Observation. Licensing reviewed fourteen children's files. Two files did not contain medical practitioner name and telephone number. This was corrected at the time of the inspection. One file did not contain emergency contacts. This was corrected at the time of inspection.

    Corrective action. Ensure a record is kept for each child showing medical practitioner name and telephone number and the name and telephone number of an emergency contact.

    Observation. Licensing observed an Early Childhood Educator with a Responsible Adult (RA) and twelve children in the Group Child Care (30 Months to School Age) program. Manager stated that the RA had applied to the Early Childhood Educator Registry for recertification as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant and this should be received within ten days.

    Corrective action. Ensure the ratio of employees to children is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.
