  Observation. Licensing observed that the children did not wash their hands prior to snack. Licensing observed the children engaged in a free play before transitioning into snack.

  Observation. Licensing observed Gym B last recorded the fire drill on January 21, 2026. Staff stated that the fire drill was conducted but not recorded.

  Corrective action. Ensure monthly fire drill records are kept current.

  Observation. Licensing audited six staff files. One staff file was missing evidence of training.

  Corrective action. Ensure all staff files have evidence of training and skills.

  Observation. Licensing audited six staff files. Two files did not have a record of the work history.

  Observation. Licensing audited six staff's files. Three files did not have character references.

  Corrective action. Ensure character references are obtained for all staff.

  Observation. Licensing audited seven children's files. One child's file was missing information to release a child to someone other than a parent.

  Corrective action. Ensure all children's files have written consent to release a child to someone other than a parent.

• The licensee must review the care plan at least once each year with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.

  Observation. Licensing audited one child's care plan. The care plan was last reviewed in consulatation with parents in 2022. Staff stated that they had not reviewed the care plan with the parents.

  Corrective action. Ensure the care plan is reviewed at least once each year with a parent.

• A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact

  Observation. Licensing audited seven children's files. One child's file had emergency contact crossed out in pen. No emergency contact added.

  Corrective action. Ensure all children's files have record of emergency contact.
