  • PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / EnvironmentNon-critical

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

Observation. Licensing observed the cupboards in the coat room have baskets and hard items stored in the upper shelves of the cupboards that could cause injury if they were to fall. The book cupboard in the main room does not have a restrictor to keep the cupboard closed, which is a concern as this could cause injury to children if they were to fall.
