    Observation. Licensing Officer observed that the trim on the red toy shelf has detached, creating a potential hazard as it is accessible to children.

    Observation. Licensing Officer observed no documentation available for review to confirm that staff ECE certificates have been validated by the registry.

    Observation. Licensing observed: - 2 children with allergies that require medication did not have administration of medication forms completed - 1 child's epi pen expired in 2024. - 1 child's asthma inhaler and epi pen expired in 2024.

Licensing reviewed a sampling of children's records: - 6 children were missing medical practitioner information - 4 children were missing photographs - 1 child did not have a medical insurance plan number - 1 child did not have documentation to support the facility can call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness if the parent cannot immediately be reached Licensing observed departure times are not being captured

    Prior to employing staff the manager has met with each person and has obtained the appropriate documentation. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)]

    Observation. Licensing reviewed staff files: - 1 staff had an expired criminal record check that was addressed to a college - 2 staff did not have character references
