  Observation. At today’s inspection, Licensing observed that the facility licence was posted; however, staff certifications were not displayed on site. The staff member also were uncertain where they are.

  Observation. During today’s inspection, the staff on duty were unable to locate the staffing list.

  Fire drills are not practiced at least once each month. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)]

  Observation. The fire drill for April 2026 has not been recorded.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. 1 child requires an Epi-pen. The pen examined today expired in October/22 A previous agreed procedure for this child's Epi-pen was that the backpack would be hung on a hook under the sign ____Epi-pen. This was not observed today. The child retrieved the backpack from a corner. Ensure to follow the agreed procedure so that staff can access the Epi-pen at all times.

  Observation. Several children do not have a photo attached to the Emergency consent form

• PHYSICAL, EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHING / EnvironmentNon-critical

  The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

  Observation. Several blue vinyl covered soft chairs have tears in the vinyl. The torn vinyl does not allow for disinfecting. Repair or replace the chairs with torn vinyl. send confirmation by May 15/22.

  Observation. Several children do not have a photo attached to the Emergency consent form. Several children have Asthma and require puffer medication as directed by the parent. No Asthma Care Plans are completed and posted. Ensure all of the items above are corrected. Send written confirmation by May 5/22.
