    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Licensing observed that the dryer was not working in the program. The Manager informed Licensing that it was broken and they had tried to replace it. An electrician had informed them that the facility does not have the upgraded wiring for newer model dryers, (the one they currently have is over 30 years old) therefore they must upgrade the wiring in order to replace the dryer. As the program does the laundering of all the bedding and the kitchen linen's a new dryer is required.
