    Prior to employing staff the manager has met with each person and has obtained the appropriate documentation. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)]

    Observation. Only one staff working at the centre currently. This staff will complete a Resume form and a Staff Immunization form left with the Licensee today. This staff still does not have a CRC for Ant FCC. She has a valid CRC from Apple FCC (Licensee's sister's FCC).

    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Bumper pads observed in cribs. New IKEA shelving unit in main activity area not bolted to the wall Shelf unit in bathroom hallway not bolted, Licensee states it is to be removed.

    There is an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency. [CCLR Sec. 22(1)(b)]

    Observation. The fire extinguisher requires servicing. The Licensee was provided with information on where to get service. There is set of emergency supplies stored in a suitcase on wheels next to the front door. These supplies will expire in July 2021. Ensure to replace by expiry date.

    Observation. 1 child did not have an Immunization record on file. 1 child did not have a photo on file.

    Observation. The licensee has two employees that help her. The licensee does not have all the required documents for the staff. Both did have valid first aid and had their RA qualification posted.
