- RECORDS AND REPORTING
The licensee must (a) develop the care plan in consultation with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation. Care plans were not developed in consultation with the parent for 2 children requiring extra support.
Corrective action. Ensure that care plan is developed for each child requiring one. The care plan must include the following information: relevant diagnosis, course of action, any adaptation or modification made to best support the child in care.

- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.
Observation. - The temperature inside some of the rooms felt cold. The thermostat reading also showed it was below the temperature it was set to be. The Licensee contact and Manager both stated that they became aware of this issue about a month ago and have called someone to come fix it. - A carpet in one of the 3-5 rooms has a corner that is curled up and poses a tripping hazard. The Manager and Licensee contact stated they would remove this carpet immediately and replace it.
11010 - CCLR s.13(1) - EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child.
Observation. In all rooms but one the sanitizing solution bottles were accessible to the children, either out on the countertop or in an unlocked cupboard.
Corrective action. The Manager will provide a written response.
