10070 - CCLR s.11(4) - OR SUPERVISION
Without limiting subsection (1), a licensee must ensure that (a) children attending a community care facility are divided into groups, with each group having no more children than that permitted in Schedule E. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Upon review of attendance, it was determined that there was 4 children under the age of 3 years from May 5-15. After this date a temporary placement was approved for the facility to have 4 children under the age of 3 years.
Corrective action. Please provide a written response to indicate how you will ensure this contravention won't occur in the future.Please submit this plan on or before June 10, 2026

Observation. At the time of inspection, the children in attendance were not signed in. There was no evidence of children being signed in since May 31, 2021.

Observation. Upon an inspection of one staff file, Licensing noted that there was no evidence of EEC certificate validation.
Corrective action. Ensure ECE certificates are verified using a system established and maintained by the director of early childhood educator registry.

Observation. Evidence of a valid criminal record check of the only staff member working was not available. A conversation with the staff member indicated that a valid CRC is available but not on site.
Corrective action. Ensure staff files are complete.
