Observation. LO observed that a staff working as an ECEA did not have her certificate displayed in the facility.

The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. LO observed that the washroom mirror appeared soiled and in need of cleaning. LO observed that the toilet appeared soiled and in need of cleaning. LO observed that the diaper changing mat is ripped in 2 spots. The mat is no longer in good repair and easy to clean.

Observation. LO observed that emergency supplies kept on site did not contain water.

Observation. In the bathroom there is a Lysol can that is under the sink, accessible to children.

Observation. Attendance was not completed for the past few days, and does not include time in/out. Licensee stated that parents never remember to complete it. LO reminded Licensee that she can fill it out. It was also observed that two children are missing medical insurance plan number.

All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]
Observation. CRC's for all persons living in the home over the age of 12 have expired, and there is currently no CRC for staff person. I will share information on how to apply for a CRC in the email with this report.
