  Observation. During both visits, the covering ECE's certificate is not posted.

  All persons over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present on the premises while children are present are of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for each person. [CCLR Sec 20]

  Observation. Clearance letter for covering ECE not found.

  Evidence of compliance with the Province's immunization and tuberculosis control programs has not been obtained. [CCLR Sec.19(1)(b)]; Character references have not been obtained. [CCLR Sec.19(1)(b)]; Records of staff's work histories have not been obtained. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)(c)]; Criminal record checks have not been obtained. [CCLR Sec. 19(1)(a)]

  Observation. The required documentation has not been acquired for the covering ECE prior to working with children.

  The licensee keeps current records of each employee as required under Sec. 19(1). [CCLR Sec.56(b)]

  Observation. During 1st visit, covering ECE staff's file was not found. Return visit to audit staff files held in the office. Covering ECE's file is missing criminal record clearance letter, work history, references, and immunization status. It was also noted during the first visit, that the ECEA's reference was provided by the owner/operator of the program.

• STAFFING / Emergency Training and EquipmentNon-critical

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. Fire drill has not been performed since May 2024.
