  Observation. There was diaper cream present that has medicinal ingredients yet no signed parental permission.

  Observation. Once child was missing immunization records / status.

  Observation. The rooms and hallways are very full of items, propped up against the walls, on all surfaces creating potential hazards for things to fall over on children.

  The licensee does not keep a current care plan for each child requiring extra support. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)]

  Observation. There is a child attending who is currently benefiting from the support of regular BI attendance. There is no care plan in place but an understanding of how best to support this child.

  Observation. Licensee is completing inspections of the outdoor play area, however these are not being documented. Options for how to document were discussed.

  Implementation of the fire drill system is practiced at least once each month, and implementation of the emergency plan is practiced at least once each year. [CCLR Sec. 22(2)(b)(c)]

  Observation. The licensee is not consistently documenting fire drills. Without documentation, is it not possible for licensing to confirm that drills are taking place. The licensee informed licensing that the drills are being practiced.
