Corrective action. The Licensee advised she will install a piece of wood to secure the gap in the fence.

- EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS
A licensee must ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are clean and in good repair while children are in attendance.
Observation. Licensing Officer observed the following: - The finish on the railing that is accessible to children on one of the cribs is worn off in patches and could pose a hazard if a child were to ingest any of the remaining finish. - Some of the fence panels enclosing the children's outdoor space are rotting and not secure.
Corrective action. Ensure that the community care facility and the furniture, equipment and fixtures within it are in good repair.

A licensee must ensure that children do not have access to any object or substance that may be hazardous to the health or safety of a child. Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A baby monitor with an unsecured cord is located in the naproom which could pose a potential entanglement risk. The Licensee corrected this during the inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure that children do not have access to any object that may be hazardous.
