Observation. At the time of inspection, there was no system in place to document medication instructions for children. Ensure to keep a current record of any medication administered to a child including the amount and the time at which the medication was administered. The Licensing Officer reviewed the facility records and found that a daily log of play space inspections had not been maintained. Ensure to keep a log of all play inspections, maintenance and repairs.

Observation. At the time of inspection, the container for soiled clothing did not have a cover. Ensure to provide a sturdy surface for changing diapers, next to a covered container and a wash basin. The Licensing Officer observed that some children did not wash their hands before having their snacks. Additionally, one of the children was observed not washing their hands after using the toilet. Ensure to establish a program to instruct children in, and to practice the rules of health and hygiene.
