Health & safety record

1 critical and 3 non-critical findings recorded since 2020.

June 23, 2025Routine Inspection2 non-critical
  • C4.1 - Are facility records current and complete?Non-critical

Observation. - A sample of the children's registration and emergency information records were reviewed. Some of the children's records did not include evidence of their immunization status. In the event of a communicable disease outbreak, the children's records must include the status of their immunizations. *Correct by: June 27, 2025.* - Some of the daily attendance records did not indicate when a child was absent. For emergency evacuation purposes, daily attendance records must accurately reflect when children are present and when they are absent. *Correct by: June 23, 2025.* Other records such as the minor incident log and the outdoor play space inspection log were reviewed and they were complete and up to date.

  • C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

Observation. - Expired antiseptic wipes for wound care were found in the first aid kits. In order to provide adequate first aid to the children in care when needed, non-expired supplies must be readily available. *Correct by: June 27, 2025.* - Debris, including pieces of wood and other equipment not being used, were stored under the trampoline and were accessible to the children in the outside play yard. To prevent potential injury, ensure that the outside play space is free from debris and other equipment that is not in use. *Correct by: June 24, 2025.* - Rooms deemed "off limits" in the child care facility were found to be unlocked and accessible to the children in care. Ensure that the children do not have access to any object or substance that may be potentially hazardous to their health and safety. *Correct by: June 23, 2025.*
