2 critical and 12 non-critical findings recorded since 2021.
June 16, 2026Routine Inspection1 critical, 3 non-critical
- C7.2 - Is there adequate and appropriate indoor and outdoor space, materials, and equipment?Critical
Observation. Found that the facility’s outdoor play space is unkept with weeds and flies due to the presence of a chicken coop on site, which was accessible to children in care. There was also evidence of chicken feed and feces on the ground within the children’s play area. This presents a risk to children in care, as exposure to animal waste and increased insect activity can contribute to the spread of bacteria and disease, create unsanitary play conditions, and increase the likelihood of children coming into contact with harmful contaminants. Submit by June 23, 2026, how you have addressed this requirement.
- C2.1 - Are written policies and procedures in place to guide employees in all matters regarding the care and supervision of children?Non-critical
Observation. Found not all programs are practicing monthly fire drills. Practicing fire drills ensure staff are prepared during an emergency situation. Submit by, June 23, 2026, how you have addressed this requirement.
- C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical
Observation. Found a staffing file with no criminal record check in it. As per Section 19 of CCLR, a Licensee must not employ a person until all required documents have been obtained. Submit by June 23, 2026, how you have addressed this requirement.
- C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical
