Observation. Walkthrough of the bathroom accessible to children in care it was noted that the soiled drying cloths are laying on the floor in a pile Children's lunches are stored in a fridge, however there is no thermometer present to ensure proper food storage temperatures
Corrective action. Manager will ensure there is a bin for soiled cloths to be located prior to washing Manager will place a thermometer in the lunch fridge

A licensee must: (b) have an emergency plan that sets out procedures to prepare for, mitigate, respond to and recover from any emergency.
Observation. The following items require addressing: Fire extinguisher is overdue for servicing Emergency supplies have not been inspected to ensure expired items are removed; and record this inspection
Corrective action. Manager will have the extinguisher serviced and inspect emergency supplies

A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (i) a photograph or digital image of the child, and other information that can be used to readily identify the child in an emergency.
Observation. During audit of 6 files today it was noted that there are photos of the children however the photos are not labeled therefore Licensing is unable to determine which file is complete
Corrective action. Manager states that they will label each photo with the child's name

Observation. The following items were accessible to children in care and present as hazardous to a child's health and safety: -Kettle full of water sitting on the edge of the counter with the cord hanging down, easily accessed and pulled down on to themselves -Adult scissors sitting on edge of kitchen counter accessible to children in care -Bottle of liquid dish soap easily accessible to children in care -Outside: a can of sunscreen and a can of insect repellant laying on the stairs and/or ground providing easy access to children in care
Corrective action. Please ensure all times are stored in accessible to children in care or removed

Observation. The backyard was not inspected today, as the Licensee stated that due to weather and lack of maintanence the yard is not being used.
