A licensee must ensure that any heated water accessible to children is heated to no more than 49° Celsius.
Observation. LO measured the water temperature in one washroom, accessible to children in care and noted the temperature was 57.3 degrees.
Corrective action. Licensee stated the children will be supervised during hand washing and a regulator will be installed to lower the temperature by the correct by date.
