    Observation. Log book is not maintained and the record of any minor incidents is not available for licensing to review

    Corrective action. Staff will get the log book in consultation with the manager and start recording the minor incidents.

    A licensee must have in writing from a parent, and maintain at the community care facility, consent (a) to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness if the parent cannot immediately be reached.

    Observation. Out of two files reviewed in one file the consent to call a medical practtioner or ambulance was not obtatined.

    Corrective action. Staff will obtain the consent from the parent today during the pick up time.

    Observation. upon reviewing the two staff files licensing observed that the phone numbers for the refrences waere available however if the refrences were checked or obtained was not evident

    Corrective action. Staff will remind the manger/licensee to obtain the references.

    A licensee must ensure that a healthy and safe environment is provided at all times while children are under the supervision of employees.

    Observation. The following items present an unsafe environment for children in care and require addressing: -two tall black shelves located in the main play area have not been secured to the wall, which could fall and harm a child -water table located in outdoor play area is full with water, water tables should be dumped prior to children accessing outdoor play space

    Corrective action. The Licensee/Manager will ensure all equipment is free of standing water at all times children are in care

    Observation. Audit of attendance records noted many blank spaces, therefore difficult to determine whether the children were present or absent, and the times of arrival and departure are blank

    Corrective action. The Licensee/Manager will ensure the attendance records contain all required documentation including arrival/departure times, absences or not scheduled (if weekends are present, please indicate what days these may be)
