  Observation. During a review of facility records, it was noted that 2 employee files did not contain evidence of verification of certificates/qualifications through the ECE Registry. Verification of certificates issued by the ECE Registry is required by Legislation. Ensure certificates are verified using the system established by the the director of of the early childhood educator registry. Submit a response to Licensing with evidence of compliance by 09-May-2025.

  Observation. Some employee's certificate to practice had not been validated prior to being employed.

  Observation. One child was missing a digital image from their "emergency card". A child has an EpiPen, however there is no care plan guiding employees on signs/symptoms and steps to respond to the child's allergy.

• C3.1 - Does the facility have sufficient employees who possess adequate training and experience to meet the care, supervision, and needs of the children?Non-critical

  Observation. Employee records were reviewed and some were found to be incomplete.

  Observation. Licensing conducted a random review of child registration filed and found at least one file that was incomplete. It was missing the start date and the name and number of the medical practitioner.

• Has the facility been tested for radon gas?Non-critical

  Observation. Radon testing is currently being conducted at the facility.

  Observation. There were no daily, monthly, or annual inspection logs being completed for the outdoor play spaces.

• C7.1 - Is the facility safe, sanitary, free from hazards, in good repair, and appropriate for the age and development of children?Non-critical

  Observation. Dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid was stored in an unlocked cupboard under the sink. Making hazardous substances accessible to children. These were both removed and placed in a high cupboard during the inspection.
