  Observation. LO examined the staff file for the 1 staff currently working in the program. The CRC for this staff expired in October 2025. All of the other required documents have been gathered.

  Medications that staff have agreed to administer are readily accessible to staff and are administered in the correct dosage at the correct times. [CCLR Sec. 53(1)]

  Observation. 1 child in care requires an Epi-pen for an Anaphylactic allergy. The Epi-pen is on site, is valid and is kept in the child's cubby.

  The licensee has written parental consent to call a medical practitioner or ambulance in case of accident or illness, in cases where the parent cannot immediately be reached. [CCLR Sec. 57(3)(a)]

  Observation. 2 Emergency consent forms are missing from children's records. These consents should be kept in the outside backpack and in the Reg binder.

  The licensee keeps a current record for each child showing the information required. [CCLR Sec. 57]

  Observation. Several care card/Personal Health care numbers are missing from the Registration form. As discussed if the family is a new immigrant they must include the private health care information. One child has an allergy to a tree nut written on the Registration form by the parent. After discussing with the staff person there was no plan for this allergy, the parent had not been asked about an Emergency procedure if the child is accidentally exposed.

  Observation. At today's inspection 17 children were present with 2 staff in non-compliance with 1:8 ratio for 30+group childcare.

  Observation. 1 staff who works as the 3rd staff has an expired AECE certificate. The Licensee applied for and received a staff exemption to allow this staff to work as AECE until full ECE certificate is received by August 1/24.

  Observation. The Playground safety checklist has been filled in on all sign in forms. This must be corrected immediately. The staff should fill out the safety checklists daily.

  Observation. The ECE staff requires certificate to be verified.

  Observation. One new staff needs a CRC for Cypress Park and Immunization statement. This new staff needs AECE certificate and first aid posted in the facility.
