There was no second staff at the facility when Licensing arrived at the facility. At 10:00 a.m. a second educator arrived. A second educator (ECE) is required in Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) for seven children as per Schedule E of the Child Care Licensing Regulation.

    Corrective action. Ensure the ratio of employees to children attending the community care facility is no less than that permitted in Schedule E.
