    Observation. Licensing observed attendance records were not showing for each day whether the children were absent, present, time of arrival or departure. Dates not recorded: May 20, 21 and 22, 2026.

    Corrective action. Ensure attendance records are showing for each day whether the children are absent, present, time of arrival or departure.

    Observation. Licensing observed a criminal record check for a person over the age of 12 that was ordinarily present was expired. Date: August 4, 2022.

    Corrective action. Ensure a criminal record check is obtained for all people over the age of 12 that are ordinarily present.

  • A licensee must ensure that children are not left unsupervised while consuming food or drink.

    Observation. Upon arrival, Licensing observed the Licensee was sitting outside while supervising three children who were engaged in outdoor play. The area where the Licensee was sitting was located away from the kitchen where one child (age 3) remained indoors in the kitchen, seated in a highchair while eating. Licensing observed that from the Licensee's position outdoors, the child was not within line of sight and was not able to be heard due to the distance and noise of the other children playing. The Licensee stated the child was finishing their meal while the other children were playing outside.

    Corrective action. Ensure children are not left unsupervised while eating or drinking.

    Observation. Licensing observed that the last fire drill was implemented in July 2022.

    Observation. Licensing observed that documentation of the corrective action plan for lead in water had not been implemented since March 28, 2022. Licensee stated the facility continues to conduct a two minute flush however has not been documenting.

    Corrective action. Ensure the community care facility operates in a manner that will promote the health, safety and dignity of persons in care.
