  Observation. Licensing observed there were several times that there was no record of children's departure times for the following Months in 2025:January, February, May, June, September, October and November.

  Corrective action. Ensure a a daily attendance record is kept for each child, including the departure time.

  Observation. Licensing audited five children files and one file did not contain a medical practitioner.

  Corrective action. Ensure current records for children showing a medical practitioner are kept.

  Observation. Licensing observed the daily attendance record was not indicating for each day if children were absent or present.

  Corrective action. Ensure current records for each child in care showing daily attendance for each child showing whether child is absent, present, time of arrival and departure are kept.

• The licensee must not permit a person over the age of 12 to be ordinarily present on the premises of a community care facility while children are present, unless the person is of good character and the licensee has obtained a criminal record check for that person.

  Observation. Licensing observed a criminal record check for one person over the age of 12 years ordinarily present was expired on August 1, 2024.

  Corrective action. Ensure a criminal record check is obtained for all persons over the age of 12 ordinarily present on the premise of a community care facility while children are present.

• A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (a)name, sex, date of birth, medical insurance plan number (MSP number does not apply to REC only) and immunization status.

  Observation. Licensing audited five children files, two files did not contain a medical insurance number and one file did not contain an immunization status.

  Corrective action. Ensure records for each child showing a medical insurance number and an immunization status are kept.

  Corrective action. Ensure that Licensing is notified of any changes in information provided under Section 9; including any changes to onsite play spaces.
