    Observation. A high chair was blocking the door to the emergency exit

    Observation. The educator who was working did not have their certificate posted

    Observation. Observation of the outdoor play area noted that the fence is in disrepair, the lower portion of the fence is deteriorating from wood rot posing the risk of falling.

    Corrective action. Please ensure that the fence is in good repair.

    A licensee must keep current records of each of the following: (d) written policies and procedures that are intended to guide employees in the care and supervision of children.

    Observation. Licensing discussed with the Manager that they pick up and drop off school age children to a nearby school. There is no transportation policy indicating that children are taken off site and the route for school pick up. Manager stated parents are aware that this occurs.

    Corrective action. Please ensure that a policy is developed to ensure parents are notified that children leave the facility and the route they take.
