  Observation. A marquee tent has been installed to provide shade and a dry area in the playground. The tent is fixed with long metal stakes which are secured with large concrete blocks. Both items present safety hazards. The stakes protrude from the concrete bricks and the bricks are tripping hazards for toddlers.

  Observation. Storage shelves in "nap room" are not secured to the wall and are unstable.

  Ground Surfacing: The playground surface is free of standing water and debris. [Director of Licensing Standard of Practice - Safe Play Space]

  Observation. Staff informed Licensing Officer that during rainy days water collects in play yard. The puddle that forms is over three inches deep and covers a large area. The water does not drain and is standing until evaporated.
