    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. Licensing observed the main activity space and dining furniture to be unclean. Fabric on chairs appeared to be quite soiled.

    Observation. Upon Licensing's arrival, the Licensee was out with the children and the second adult in the home welcomed Licensing in the facility. Licensing observed that the children's lunches were left strewn about on the table and the floor, half-finished. Remaining food was not preserved to maintain food safety.

    Observation. Back play yard of facility is in a state of disrepair and ruin. Operator owns multiple dogs which have dug holes in areas where children play creating an unsuitable play space for small children. Additionally, large holes have been dug in preparation for construction and only one has been gated off.

    Observation. Family child care program has pets (three dogs and two cats). During inspection Licensing observed children seated and eating at the table while the cats were on the table. The Licensee informed the Licensing Officer that the dogs are not permitted in the same area of the program as the children are not comfortable with the dogs. The main activity area is very dirty with mud and debris from dogs in the space.
