  Corrective action. Ensure not to employ an educator without first validating the certificate through the ECE Registry.

  Observation. Licensing reviewed 7 of 7 staff files. One file had an expired first aid certificate. Staff stated the staff with the expired certificate does work alone with children.

  Corrective action. Ensure children have access at all time, immediate access to an employee who holds a valid first aid and CPR certificate.

  Observation. Licensing observed the last fire drill recorded in May 2023. ITE on site stated fire drills have been conducted monthly.

  Observation. Licensing observed two ECE/ECEA certificates were not posted on the wall at the facility.

  Corrective action. Ensure certificates or copy of certificates of any educator/assistant employed is posted.
