    Observation. Licensing reviewed six children's records. Two children did not have medical practitioner's name and phone number on file.

    Corrective action. Ensure all children enrolled have a medical practitioner's name (or name of Walk in Clinic) on file with a phone number.

  • A licensee must ensure that children are supervised at all times by a person who is an educator, an assistant or a responsible adult.

    Observation. On arrival Licensing observed two seven year old children outside in the front driveway, one on a bike the other on a scooter. Licensing did not observe anyone actively supervising the children. During the inspection the two seven year old children went upstairs for approximately 30 minutes to watch TV with Licensee's husband. One of these children was the Licensee's grandchild, the other was a child in care.

    Corrective action. Ensure all children in care are actively supervised by a qualified responsible adult who has all the required employee paperwork in place.
