Observation. Licensing observed a unlicensed preschool program was operating for 2.5 hours. The Licensee Contact stated the program was for three to five year old's for the Summer Months. This does not meet the requirement of Section 3(d) of the Child Care Licensing Regulation where a summer camp was for children who would be 6 years old by December 31, 2025 or Section 3(f) of the Child Care Licensing Regulation for an exempted program where the children would attend for less than two hours and the program was operated and funded by the municipality.
Corrective action. Ensure the facility is operated in a manner that would promote the health, safety and dignity of person in care.

Observation. Licensing audited eight staff files and two staff certificates were not validated through the ECE Registry. Licensee Contact validated the certificates during the inspection.
Corrective action. Ensure educators or assistant holds valid and verified certificate.
