Observation. Licensing observed on arrival at the facility five children in care, all five children were under the age of 48 months with no approved exemption in place.
Corrective action. Ensure the Family Child Care Licence requirements are followed, which is four children under the age of 48 months and of those four two children can be under 24 months.

Observation. Licensing reviewed monthly fire drills. No fire drill was practiced in April 2022.
Corrective action. Ensure a minimum of one fire drill is practiced each month.

Observation. Licensing observed that the Licensee writes in her attendance record book daily "checked yard", however no record of a thorough daily, monthly, annual inspection, maintenance and repairs was not available for review.
Corrective action. Ensure a thorough daily, monthly, annual inspection, maintenance and repairs record of the outdoor play are is kept.
