  Observation. Licensing observed that the sandbox: - did not contain any sand. - did not have a cover to prevent animals and debris from getting in.

  For each child requiring extra support, the licensee keeps a current care plan showing the required information. [CCLR Sec. 58(1)(2)]

  Observation. 1) Licensing observed the following Life Threatening Allergy Emergency Action Plan posted in the kitchen. The plan had "egg" listed as the child's anaphylaxis trigger. No Epi Pen information was filled out and no Epi Pen was on site at the facility. The manager stated that the child attends extended hours and they were not sure what the extend of the egg allergy was. LO reviewed the child's file which stated that the child does not need an anaphylaxis care plan. 2) Parents had reported to the manager that their child no longer required an EpiPen for their nut allergy. The child's file had not been updated with this information and still stated that the child was allergic.
