    Observation. Licensing observed two children being changed in the kitchen area, same location used for food preparation, storage of lunch boxes and drinking water bottles.

    Corrective action. Ensure the diaper change area is away from food preparation areas.

  • A licensee must ensure that children are supervised at all times by a person who is an educator, an assistant or a responsible adult.

    Observation. Licensing observed that children in a Group Child Care (Under 36 Months) program were left to nap in a nap room unsupervised. ECE stated practice was to have an educator in the nap room during nap time, both educators in this program were not in the nap room on this date, there was no monitor alternative to allow for supervision and children were behind a closed door.

    Corrective action. Ensure children are supervised at all times.
