- The licensee must develop the care plan in consultation,with a parent of the child requiring extra support and any person requested by the parent.
Observation. Licensing observed that a care plan created for a child that required extra support was not signed by a parent. Manager indicate that a care plan was to be created on February 28, 2022 in consultation with a parent.
Corrective action. Ensure a care plan for a child who requires extra support d created in consultation with a parent.
3070 - CCLR 58(2)(a) - A licensee must keep, for each child, a record showing the following information: (d) name and telephone number of a parent, medical practitioner (doctor's name and number does not apply to REC only) and emergency contact
Observation. Licensing audited seven children's files, one file was missing a name and telephone number for a medical practitioner.
Corrective action. Ensure a records showing name and telephone number of medical practitioner are kept for each child in care.
