    Observation. Expiry date noted on a care plan inconsistent with the expiry date on the medication. It is recommended that a new form is filled out for both care plans, instead of crossing out and writing on the same form, in order to provide clarity. Information on care plans should be reviewed annually, as symptoms may change, medication may require updating, as well as family/physician instructions.

    Observation. *An iron was observed on the edge of the atelier counter which poses the possibility of tipping. *The icicle sting lights on the indoor climber are not secure creating the possibility of entrapment. *The storage room was unlocked allowing children access to tools and tipping hazards. *There is a broken toilet tank lid being loosely held together by duct tape.

    Observation. *CCFL observed 2 couch like cushions in use in the play yard that had become wet and mouldy.

    The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction.  They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]

    Observation. *A large wardrobe in the main play room was observed to be unsecured. The wall anchors were attached to the wardrobe but not to the wall. This is a tipping hazard. *A tall shelf in the main play room was unsecured and appeared to be quite wobbly. *A large dresser in the main playroom is not secured to the wall and poses a tipping hazard should a child pull out the drawers and attempt to climb.

    Observation. *Several loose and accessible cords were observed throughout the facility. CCFL observed light table and cell phone cords in the nap room as well as the cord for the hepa filter to be unsecured. These loose cords pose the possibility of entanglement.
