  Observation. Licensing observed that one round wood stump by the wheeled toy path bridge was splintered with a piece broken off.

  Observation. The slide in the 3-5 yard is exposed to sun all day. At the time of inspection at 10:39 am the slide was very hot to the touch and unsafe for children to go down. A child was overheard telling the staff that the slide was too hot. The staff and child discussed to put a note on the slide that it was closed. Staff informed licensing the the slide was closed every day due to the hot sun exposure. A discussion was held with the manager to install a shade sail over the slide. (The slide in the toddler yard has a shade sail above and was not hot).
