Further explained that children are always being supervised when using the sinks.

    Observation. Licensing observed a fire extinguisher that was due for servicing in February 2024.

    Observation. During the inspection Licensing observed the staff physically re-direct children on more then one occasion without advanced notice or talking to the child. For example staff pushed in children at the table by placing their arms under the children's rib cage , put their hands on children's legs and physically turned their legs in their chairs, wipe children's face's without prior permission, place their hands on children's arms and shoulders and physically move the children to where they wanted them to be.

    Observation. During review of the centre's policies and procedures, Licensing observed that they were not specific to the preschool program. A licenced facility is required to have current polices and procedures as per Sec, 56 (1) and CCALA 19. The polices and procedures are required to be specific to the program.
