The facility, the furniture, equipment, fixtures and supplies are of sturdy and safe construction. They are easy to clean, and are clean and in good repair and free from hazards. [CCLR Sec. 13(2) and Sec. 15(1)(a)]
Observation. Licensing observed pieces of pool noodles being tied to the corners of steel soccer goal/net as a means of protection. These pool noodles appeared ripped and damaged which are no longer easy to clean and in good repair.

Observation. Licensing observed the following: *no care plan for a child with Diabetes-type 1. A discussion took place regarding obtaining the required information in care plan. Licensing will provide a care plan template for Diabetes. *a discussion took place regarding developing a care plan should a child require extra support needs. (i.e. ADD/ADHD) Licensing will provide a care plan template.

Observation. Licensing was unable to locate an epi-pen for a child who is allergic to peanuts. The manager informed that this child was recommended to have an epi-pen on site by their health practitioner. The child’s parent will provide an epi-pen by the end of the week.
